Honesty disclosure: Chrome routes mic audio to Google for transcription. The audio leaves your machine. We don't store the audio — only the text Chrome gives back. Local processing (whisper.wasm) is on the v0.2 roadmap.

Note: in v0.1, Chrome's default mic is used by the speech engine regardless of this selection. Picker will be respected when local whisper lands in v0.2. To force a specific mic right now, set Chrome's default at chrome://settings/content/microphone.

Opens Amazon (or top provider) in a tab when a command matches. Off by default — turn on if you want hands-free browsing.

Wake word

Require wake word

When ON (recommended), commands must start with the wake phrase, e.g. "hey drop buy peanut butter". Drastically reduces false triggers from TV or background conversation. Turn OFF to use natural-language matching (e.g. just "buy peanut butter") at the cost of more false hits.

Wake phrase

Default is hey drop. Use two syllables minimum for reliable detection. Avoid common words.
